Back Lamborghini standard two-wheel drive: after the success of the Gallardo LP 550-2 also Huracan was in fact converted into a rear-drive layout that is called LP 580-2 and that is at the entrance of the range with a target price for the European market of 150 000 EUR, excluding taxes. The coupe debuts at the Los Angeles and is immediately recognizable by the new bumpers and the different arrangement of the front air intakes, while behind the new 19 “wheels with Pirelli tires lies a braking system that replaces the traditional carboceramico of LP 610-4.
Engine Lamborghini LP580-2 Huracan
The engine is the same 5.2-liter V10-wheel drive version, but in this production delivers 580 hp and 540 Nm of torque and is always paired exclusively with automatic transmission Lamborghini Double Clutch (LDF) seven-speed. L ‘absence of the front differential has reduced the total mass up to 1,389 kg dry (- 33 kg) while maintaining 60% of the weight on the rear axle.
Performance Lamborghini LP580-2 Huracan
The performances are very close to those of the model to 610 hp: 100 km / h are reached from standstill in 3.4 seconds (0.2 seconds) and top speed is 320 km / h. For the record this version adopts Cylinder Deactivation and the claimed average fuel consumption is 11.9 l / 100 km and 278 g / km of CO2, thus improving the data than the LP 610-4.
Trim Lamborghini LP580-2 Huracan
Lamborghini’s engineers have taken stiffening the structure and making it even more precise steering for maximum driving pleasure, enhancing the agility of this rear-wheel drive variant. In addition, the driving modes Road, Sport and Corsa managed from the command Soul (which stands for Adaptive Intelligent Network MAnagement) on the steering wheel have been recalibrated accordingly. The electronically controlled suspension and Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) are optional.
