2017 Apollo Arrow Limited Edition, Concept
After the restructuring and rebranding, the Apollo (reincarnation company Roland Gumpert bearing the founder’s name) arrives in Geneva with the Arrow, a prototype high-performance pointing to collect the inheritance of the Gumpert Apollo, a of the fastest cars on the Nürburgring.
The German company, supported by a new investor (ldeal Team Ventures Hong Kong) and renamed as the iconic hypercar, proposes a car inspired by “the F22 Raptor fighter, the power of the ocean and sharks forms”. From a technical standpoint, the car uses carbon for both the new chassis is for the body. The Arrow offers several innovative (for example, the rear wing has been completely revised) but some Apollo distinctive elements remain: the case of the doors and the central air intake.
2017 Apollo Arrow Features
The engine of the Arrow is derived from a 4.0-liter Audi V8, modified to return 1,000 hp and the same Nm of torque: to achieve this remarkable power, the House took two larger turbochargers, new intercooler and a revised exhaust system from zero. The hypercar boasts acceleration 0-100 in less than 2.9 seconds, a top speed of 360 km / h and is equipped with ESP and ABS (products from Bosch). The wheels are 20 “front and 21” at the rear, while the ground height can be set as desired in a range between 40 and 120 mm. The House plans to produce 100 copies of the Arrow, customizable in every detail: the price, however, has not yet been announced.
The Apollo N Limited Edition
In Geneva has also landed the direct heir of the Gumpert Apollo S, one of the record: to take up the legacy of the “rocket” of the Nürburgring, the House will build the Apollo N, extremely limited (the specimens are only six) marked from numerous interventions on aerodynamics, in particular with regard to the air vents and the rear wing. The Apollo N, in strict black and white livery, will have redesigned the interior from scratch and a configurable digital display. Three modes provided for guidance: Basic, Sport and Race.
