The new MINI Convertible is now virtually revealed in all its parts: the numerous spy photos in recent months have provided very precise information on design and detail, and the progressive reduction of protective films of prototypes has uncovered a lot of information on the model, whose debut is imminent.
Drawbacks on track. It is still room for the unexpected. A test driver, committed to test the car in one of the first curves of the Nürburgring has performed a spectacular as harmless spin, aboard a prototype version of the John Cooper Works Convertible: tempting opportunity to take some close-up pictures, while the car finished its “circle” without damage, probably for a combination of new tires and asphalt cold and trying to reach the imite immediately.
Engine. The Mini Convertible remains faithful to the formula of the fabric roof, while the interior is identical to the three-door versions already on the market. The mechanics will be substantially the same, except for any choices on the presence or less of the less powerful engines in the range. The John Cooper Works offers images of the 2.0-liter turbo variant of 231 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
