The C-HR Concept, which Toyota has already demonstrated in two different versions and which prefigures the compact crossover that we will see in Europe in 2016, also debuted in the United States under the brand Scion.
TNGA platform 2016 Scion C-HR
The prototype exhibited at the Salon in Los Angeles, beyond the logo in the grille, incorporates the main stylistic elements of the concept first seen at Paris Motor Show 2016, even if there are minor changes to the bumpers and light clusters, such as moving the mask Central of LED daytime running lights. The platform chosen for the model is modular (tnga) just introduced the fourth generation of the Prius and for this reason it is likely that the C-HR is also available in a hybrid variant, important to stand out from fierce competition.
America was chosen the Scion brand to point in no uncertain terms to the younger crowd, operation already carried out with the FR-S (aka GT86). The production model of the C-HR, which are likely to see in Geneva, will probably not be so extreme in the lines but will help to refresh the image of Toyota, and allow you to enter one of the currently most important segments of the global market.
